![]() Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) at UTS Closing Date: 14/07/2008 NSW The Institute for Sustainable Futures (ISF) at UTS, a leader in applied sustainability research is seeking a skilled researcher with social research skills and experience. Ideally you will have applied these skills in a university or non-government research context, or in local government (for example in social and community planning), or in state or federal government policy development. Applying your social research skills to our wide range of sustainability projects you will help build our expertise in the social dimensions of sustainability. Be part of a team that works at the exciting intersection of social and environmental issues. Our work is primarily qualitative in nature, however we are also interested in expanding our quantitative social research capabilities, so experience in undertaking quantitative research design and analysis would be valuable. Salary range: Level 6: $56,691 to $61,382 pa Level 7: $62,557 to $69,203 pa The appointment will be made at Level 6 or Level 7 depending on skills and experience. This position is a continuing appointment. The university offers an attractive superannuation package of 17%. Salaries quoted above are exclusive of superannuation.
